The Yorkshire Bulldog Club Championship Show held 27th December 2007 Judge Miss Sonia Davis I would like to thank the committee for all their hard work and the exhibitors for bringing their lovely dogs. Quality was very high and the breed is overall in a very good state, mouths generally were good, most dogs were sound. Lack of bone seems to be creeping into the breed . Minor Puppy Dog 1st Michanjie Red Renegrade, striking red and white ,nice head good layback,good frontand bone,pear shaped,good hindquarters,moved well 2nd Pearce Sodburybull I predict a Riot ,and so he might when fully mature,red and white,excellent head with sour expression.good pigment, correct mouth ,good front, good bone,pear shaped with good rib,nice angulation,moved well,as he matures just needs to drop into himself. 3rd Gilbert-Frew Jojams Matthia Puppy Dog 1st Bishoprick Pheorm Mob brindle and white,excellent head with good upsweep and sour expression,lovely substance,straight front ,strong hindquarters, shows himself to advantage, moved with confidence . 2nd Davis Sanbull Mexican Sunset at Kismond red and white another dog I have admired from the ringside ,shorter in back than 1 but not as strong on his hind quarters ,lovely head,sour expression enogh bone, handled and presented very well.Both these dogs should have a very bright future. 3rd Burden Iceglint I’m Rudie Tanstan Junior Dog 1st Garside Ch Iceglint I’m Harry.Impressive red and white,up to size and all male,lovely head,ears,wide straight underjaw,straight heavy boned front,good neck into well laid back shoulders,correct roach,finished off with a straight tail.good hind quarters that he used well on the move, presented and handled to perfection CC and BEST IN SHOW 2nd Smith/Powell, Willams, Wallis Ochils Boy .Dark red and white ,powerful foreface excellent front and bone moved and handled well,needs to be shorter in back. 3rd Sweeny/Turner Jaybelabee Phantom. Novice Dog 1st Willams, Wallis Ochils Boy .Dark as above [2nd in Jnr.] 2nd Hodgkinson Bullpei William Butler deep Red and white ,good head , dark eyes, good rib and body shape,deep brisket doesn’t need to grow anymore 3rd Harrison My Sumari with Miss Daisies Graduate 1st Williams Leicity Leslie William at Willsmere .Eyecatching redand white standard size with good bone ,sour expression, short shapely body and straight tail . 2nd Cockerham Jacobella Wannadoo for Yakuza Fawn and white Close up to 1, nice head straight front, short back,moved and handled well. 3rd Westmoreland/Paull Takamyne Mitchell Post Graduate Dog 1st Peacock Coatesmar Bombadier solid red Grand dog ,great showman ,excellent bone, nice feet,straight front good rib, good body shape,moved and handled well. 2nd Mcmunn Goodbull Tommy Tucker close up to 1 deep red, good front and bone,moved and showed well . Handled well . 3rd Garside Iceglint I’m Marvin Limit dog 1st Seals Sealaville He’s the Rebel, fawn/white correct for size,powerful head with good upsweep,excellent jaw, short cobby , pear shaped body,excellent hind quarters which he uses well on the move.Straight tail handled and presented as one would expect from this kennel Reserve CC 2nd Coatsmar Union Jack pale red and white , styandard size,stand off expression,straight front with good bone,nice body shape ,showed and presented well 3rd Stoneworks Apprentice at Oakspride. Open Dog 1st Davis UK Ch . & Multi Champion Ocobo Freddy Mystyle brindle and white standard size, straight front,enough bone, straight jaw ,good body shape,moved well presented and shown in good condition 2nd Stutter Linmist XfactorJW red and white, nice head,good front, good rib,nice dog but wish he would hold his head up on the move . 3rd Davis Kismond Buttons and Bows. Veteran Dog or Bitch 1st Daizell Leithbull Red Admiral red and white stand off expression,straight front,showed and moved like a youngster credit to his owner 2nd Brown Dawnstar Wonderfuil Wendy at Merretbull, white and red bitch,excellent rib,good bone, showed well 3rd Westmoreland Charlottes Gem Minor Puppy Bitch Stunning Class of puppies .All first five puppies were of the highest qualitybut the star of the day had to be 1st Pearce Sodbury Jasmine,Red and White with the blackest of pigment,beautiful head with correct jaw,excellent upsweep,sour expression,straight heavy boned front, excellent brisket and rib,good roach good hindquarters.Moved well ,one of the nicest puppies to grace the showring for sometime ,should have a very bright future ,pushed hard for the cc.Reserve CC and Best Puppy in Show 2nd Bellshaw Hillbull Heeza Lady at Admireabull ,red and white doesn’t need to grow anymore,excellent front, good bone,lovely head with good turn of underjaw,plenty of rib, moved well handled well and presented in good condition 3rd Lunt Jaqles Mini Me Puppy Bitch 1st Bellisimo Beaujolais Brindle and White nice head with good expression,short in back with good rib, good hindquarters,moved well 2nd Davis Sanbull Hawian Sunset Kismond Red and White close up to 1.Nice head good chin and upsweep, straight front ,neat feet, pear shaped short in back,moved well ,presented to get the best out of her 3rd New Newrock Rock and Roll at Kelloe
Junior Bitch 1st Price Esclusham Right Reason, up to size impressive bitch with lots of substance.Excellent head with good upsweep and layback, large nose,dark eyes, good ears, straight front, plenty of rib, good body shape,moved really well , presented well 2nd John and Davis Haddabull Blossom Mystyle,different type on the small side , easr not her fortune, nice head , good front, nice body shape handled well 3rd Cockerham Yakuza Up all Night . Novice Bitch 1st Bell Belldell Miss Pippa,eye catching red and white, nice head , neat ears , good front, good body shape, tacked on shoulders, moved and handled well 2nd Davis Sanbull Hawian Sunset at Kismond [also 2nd in MBP] 3rd Urwin/pringle Tyravvus Emily Jiangrot.
Graduate Bitch 1st Lamont Laroyal Glorification,JW Glorious white with red markings,standard size with lots of substance, correct head , good neck into well laid shoulders, good rib with correct body shape,short and cobby ,moved and handled well. 2nd Morris Ragmarte Tiger Lily, Brindle and white , not has much upsweep and pinched nostrils , strong bitch ,with plenty of substance, good rib,a bit beefy behind,didn’t want to behave today. 3rd Webster Morhar Private Dancer Post Graduate Bitch 1st Reynolds Biddle Call Me Ali , fawn and white good head with sour expression, neat ears,dark eyes, straight front, good neck, good shoulders, short back with good roach moved really well. 2nd Davies Morhar Sista Sista ,eye catching red and white lacks pigment around one eye and ears not her fortune but good for bone, nice body shape, nice head handled well 3rd John Celticpride Tinkerbelle at Ourstyle Limit Bitch 1st Seals Sealaville Shes Buffy , Standard size red and white beautiful head with good length of skull, sour expression, excellent pigment , good shoulders, straight front with plenty of bone ,short cobby body, good roach moved well.Handled and presented to perfection Bitch CC Best Opposite Sex , Reserve Best In Show . 2nd Pearce Ramshire If You Ever at Sodbury , Red and white excellent head with sour expression, good turn of straight under jaw, good ears ,straight front with good bone , nice shape, moved and handled well. 3rd Bentley Triardar Abitaruff Open Bitch Super Class of Quality bitches 1st Davis Chelly Mystyle ,Brindle and white ,standard size with lots of substance,lovely head with broad foreface ,straight wide underjaw, good pigment, straight front, good shoulders deep brisket and excellent rib, good hindquarters, moved her width , very nice bitch, but in the challenge lost interest and looked tired
